From my home state comes this troubling tale:

In El Reno Oklahoma, police were called to an apartment in town by the 86 year old woman’s grandson. The grandson called police and told them the woman was threatening to kill herself with medication. The police entered the residence and were ordered out of the apartment by the woman. She told police she was in control of her own life and wanted to die. She then drew a knife on the officers who in turn tasered the woman. She was then taken to a local hospital, and then, transported to a mental hospital for observation.

Isn’t tasering potentially, even likely, fatal  for an 86 year old….then again so is a hot shower or sudden drop in barometric pressure! Next time let her have the pills, its more humane!

This week on the Hard Stuff….new
Puddle of Mudd and Danko Jones this week….old school Judas Priest and Thin Lizzy…thrash metal gods Exodus and Testament and some surprises! Anytime you have a request , complaint or summons to serve contact Mike or myself at HardStuff@bigjimrocks.com. BTW…anybody heard the new Danzig album yet? Is it just me or are Glenn’s vocals buried? Maybe he’s trying to recapture the sound of those classic Misfits albums…I dunno. Check out the album, Deth Red Saboath, and let me know how your earholes react!

By Mike Lyon · Comments (0)

Hey, we’re celebrating 10 years of being on air this Summer. Appreciate the support. Listen this week and we’ll have Buddy Guy(a track from his Sweet Tea album), plus a great guitarist Ben Robinson. The show starts at 5. Turn on Big Jim, listen to some great Blues and start the grill!
