Blues in the Heartland has been on the air for over 6 years. The show is dedicated to playing an eclectic mix of the blues; from the 1930′s delta blues master Robert Johnson to the 2007 innovative blues of Chris Thomas King. Of course, you can expect to hear the staples of the blues; B.B.King, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, and many more, but Blues in the Heartland prides itself on Blues you seldom hear on the radio…like T-Model Ford, Cootie Stark, and Floyd Lee and his Mean Blues Band, just to name a few. Also, in the two hour show, expect to hear some South Dakota blues from Indigenous and Urban Blues.
